A civic-tech competition empowering Allegheny County students to solve local challenges with technology and policy.
"Tech4Policy" is a competition by a Nonprofit organization where student teams build a plan. Each Team submits two connected components:

Our judging panel consists of leaders in public policy, technology, and education.

Assemble your team and register for the competition. We will provide resources and guides to help you get started.
Teams will develop their tech prototype and draft the accompanying one-page policy brief. Examples and scoring guidelines will be provided.
All projects are due by March 31. Our preliminary judges will review all submissions based on our public rubric, narrowing the field to the top 5 finalists. Finalists will be announced on April 15th.
The top 6 teams will present their projects live to our final judging panel, including Rep. Venkat. Winners will be announced, and all finalists will recieve certificates. Winners would recieve prize money
