Turn Your Ideas Into Impact

A civic-tech competition empowering Allegheny County students to solve local challenges with technology and policy.

Our Mission

Bridging the Gap Between Code and Community.

"Tech4Policy" is a competition by a Nonprofit organization where student teams build a plan. Each Team submits two connected components:

  • A Tech-Based Solution: A prototype/draft of an app, website, or tool that solves a local problem.
  • A Policy Brief: A one-page implementation plan on how the local government could realistically adopt, fund, and support the solution.
